Lenka Stolar of Victoria, British Columbia was content with the life she led … but Arbonne had so much more to offer. Building a part-time business alongside her career in the arts fulfilled her dreams for life and gifted her with much more for herself and her family.
If you could see through my eyes, you would see all that I have seen this company, these products and this opportunity do for thousands of people. You would see what is possible — the fun, the income, the relationships, the personal growth and the fulfillment that comes with deciding to start this journey, though it be both exciting and terrifying in the beginning.
You can’t see through my eyes, but I will tell you my story — how I built my business and why I did it, even though in the beginning I had no idea what was to come and where Arbonne would take me. I began my Arbonne business in August 2005. I had a successful career in the arts as an actress and a writer. I’m a “big dreamer” kind of girl — creative, motivated and the kind of girl who never lets a day pass without living it fully, being present and being grateful for what I have. I was certainly happy and content in my life. I began as a single parent of two boys: Reece and Casimir. My sister-in-law, Tina, had just been to an Arbonne Presentation with Dr. Gultaj Somani and of course, we had never heard of Arbonne. She told me about the products and that she was going to start her own business. Tina asked me to host a get-together for her launch and mentioned that this would be a great business for me.
Though I had no intention of starting a business, I did host a small Presentation to support her. That evening, I really saw the opportunity, and what the product and company stand for. I was very impressed and believed this would be great for my sister-in-law, but not for me. I had a career I was happy with. But like countless others, I starting using the anti-aging products and fell in love with them because they actually worked. I became curious and met with Gultaj and her sponsor, Dr. Tanis Gaitens.
The next month, I was a District Manager. Within the next two months, I promoted to Area Manager. My last District Manager paycheck fulfilled the only goal I had made. By then, I started to see what was possible. That’s when my vision and goals changed. I asked myself what I truly wanted my life to look like; if I could design my work, income and life, what would it be? I could see this was the vehicle to limitless possibilities. Instead of waiting to see what would happen in my life — dreaming of owning my own home and traveling the world with my children — I knew that if I kept doing what I was doing, my part-time business would keep growing, and I would make all the things on my dream list a reality.
In 21 months, I was a Regional Vice President and earned the third Arbonne white Mercedes-Benz in British Columbia, alongside Tina and Gultaj. About one year later, my team and I were a Nation.
I didn’t come to Arbonne to become a National Vice President, but by sticking to the system and working consistently, it just kept growing and now, I can’t imagine my life without this business and the extraordinary women and men who are in my life because of it.
I really do live the best life … the best life for me. I’m a “play big” girl, so I get to have a ton of fun, work by my definition and schedule, and have all the privileges of a stay-at-home mom, so I don’t miss anything important to my family, but I also make an incredible income.
I am able to work out every day and write, not because I need the income, but simply because I love it. I have a lifestyle of balance, to enjoy my time and live a life of abundance. I take trips several times a year with my boys, creating memories that will stay with them forever. I proudly purchased a stunning first home for us. Arbonne has gifted me in so many ways, many of which you can see in my life, but some which you cannot see.
I have grown as a person. I have grown as a visionary and a leader. I am proud, I am abundant and I am grateful. The people I have met along the way have become one of my favorite aspects of life. It is so rare in life to have work that puts us in a position to help people create the life they truly want. This is a business to celebrate, to dream, to find freedom and possibility, and to learn and grow together.
Building my business to a strong, flourishing Nation was not easy. This is a business. It takes time, patience, consistency, work, personal growth and belief. I experienced many bumps in the road along the way. Many times I had to sit back and assess why I was in this game and what I truly wanted. Life, roadblocks and dreamstealers will surface — they’re not all going to step aside for you to build your business, but if you decide you are unstoppable, you will be right.
You may already have a great career. I wasn’t looking for something myself, but perhaps there is something still missing in your life. Maybe it’s time or balance, fun, passion for your work or helping others. I was happy, but there was so much more to come for my family.
The Lenka Stolar Nation has been built on work, strength, vision, passion, belief and love. My team constantly reminds me of who we are, what is possible, and what living a great life is. We laugh, we build, we learn and we celebrate.
To my team: I am forever grateful and thank you with all my heart for all you have gifted me in business and in my life. You raise the bar for me all the time and you inspire me constantly.
To my RVPs, Diana Gilbert, Tova Vanderveen, Tina Edson, Eileen Jonker and Donna Giannakos: You make this game the best gig in town! Your strength, heart, passion, friendship and humility not only make my work worth doing, but also make my life better in so many ways. Your teams are blessed with you as their leaders.
To my other RVP and best friend, Judi Closkey — the only person in my business I knew before Arbonne: The best gift of all is that we get to be friends, travel, work and play Arbonne together. I am so proud of you; life is rewarding you with all you deserve and I’m so happy to get to share that.
To my upline, Cecilia Stoll, Neta Irwin, Linda Parker and Tanis Gaitens: Thank you for all the gifts and leadership you have shared. Thank you for paving the way so that so many others of us could have the life we have. Tina Overbury, I am so glad you saw this opportunity and shared it with me. What a gift it has been to us all.
A special thank you to Gultaj Somani: You have always seen me as far greater than I have ever seen myself. Your belief in me is what raised my own belief in myself. I believe you were put in my life to add to who I am and am constantly becoming. I love you and am forever grateful to you.
To my mom: Thank you for all your love and support along the way and still today. Traveling, playing Arbonne and having you as mom and friend makes my life even richer.
To my James: The legacy you left in my heart is with me every day. You taught me to fly and be me, and live life as full as can be. I love you and feel you in my actions every day.
And finally, to my boys, Reece and Casimir: I play this game for you. You are my Why. I thank you for always being my biggest fans. Before I am anything, I am your mommy, and there is nothing I am more proud of. I am looking forward to the legacy we as a family leave for this planet.
If you could see through my eyes, and see what I have seen, you would share Arbonne with everyone. I celebrate you, looking into Arbonne for yourself. We truly are having a great time, with the right company and the right products at the right time.
Life is short — live it fully. This is your shot; it’s your turn in the world. Live and play and define your days. Cheers to you and your success.
