Passion Pays Off!

Aileen Beyer of Omaha, Nebraska, started her Arbonne business with the goal of earning a little extra money each month. She was comfortable as an Area Manager — for seven years. Then the day came when she had to decide whether to let her fears or her dreams determine her future.

My story is not one of overnight success. In fact, it’s one of persistence. I’ve been in and out of Arbonne for eight years. After many years as an Area Manager, my Why finally became bigger than my fears and excuses. I remember countless nights where my team and I would sit around my kitchen table wondering if this would ever work, and I now realize that every setback was actually a setup for our future success. Once I had a true sense of urgency, everything changed.

I’m a Jersey girl who’s always had a positive outlook on life and believed that life is a fun adventure. After serving four years in the Air Force and being transplanted in Omaha, Nebraska, I received my MBA and was excited to begin my journey in the workplace. In my corporate management role, I loved leadership and helping others, but after several years I felt like there was something missing. I had the sinking feeling of “Is this really all there is?”  I had so many dreams when I was young and when I was asked if I was living in my purpose and doing what I was put on this earth to do, my answer was a resounding “No.” I wasn’t sure what my purpose was but I knew I wasn’t living it.

 

It was right around this time that Arbonne was introduced to me. I went to a Mercedes-Benz presentation with a friend and was blown away by the amount of positive energy, excitement, and passion in the room. The leaders were pure class and elegance. I immediately fell in love with the products and the quality of ingredients. Something inside me changed that night, and I knew this was what I was meant to do. Arbonne had been my dream all along.

My Why for doing this business was to have enough extra income to offset the cost of hiring a nanny to care for our two beautiful daughters while I worked my corporate job from home. However, this past summer my corporate position changed, and I no longer had the work-from-home benefit. I felt like I was being pulled away from my kids and the lifestyle our family structure is built upon, and I knew immediately I had to take my Arbonne business to a new level. I had a newfound sense of urgency so huge that it hurt my heart. This was my “shift” when Arbonne went from being my “extra income” to my “replacement income.” After being an Area Manager for seven years, I had a new vision that was crystal clear: I was looking for leaders who were driven, focused and were ready to take it to the top with me. Within a few months, my team’s sales volume quadrupled, and I was in qualification for RVP!

I’m forever grateful to Arbonne. There’s no other business model where you can work around your already busy schedule and earn full-time income. So many people think, “Those things don’t work,” but if you look around there’s proof everywhere that they do. It’s such a wonderful feeling to wake up each morning excited to start the day full of endless possibilities where you get to choose who you work with. I love that it’s my job to share and sell Arbonne with others and the only job requirements are that you start dreaming again, are coachable, and never give up!
