Why Fly When You Can Soar
Karina Nagy of Manahawkin, New Jersey, was looking for a career change. Her mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and beginning to decline, and the burden of increasing medical costs made her long for a better life. Thanks to a close family friend, she found it with the Arbonne Opportunity.
I was first introduced to Arbonne in November 2014, when a longtime family friend invited me to a Discover Arbonne meeting. After five months of avoiding her and making excuses as to why I couldn’t attend her launch parties, I reluctantly went to ENVP Donna Bradley’s Nation meeting. That night, as I sat in that meeting, I realized that this opportunity was so much bigger than what I originally thought. As I drove home I found myself becoming excited about what the future held. Instead of being consumed with the financial stresses that so many families face today, I began to dream again.
Perhaps, through consistently working this business, I would be able to buy my oldest son his first car. Maybe my three boys would be able to graduate college with little to no debt. Was it possible that when the time came my husband and I would be able to take the financial burden of a wedding off our sons’ shoulders? The answers that were now possible because of the Arbonne Opportunity had me jumping in that night. I decided that if others could do this, so could I.
A year into my business, my mother took a turn for the worse. I wanted to make the most out of every second I had left with her. Arbonne gave my family and I the gift of time, and because of the business I had consistently been building, my husband and I were able to take time off from work to be by her bedside and watch her take her last breath. The gratitude that fills my heart every time I think of these last moments is more than words can express.
My road to Region continued, and two and a half years into my business, I promoted to Regional Vice President. Like any journey, there were obstacles and celebratory moments. The most important thing I learned during this time was to embrace and truly live in every moment.
I am filled with so much love and appreciation for the life I have been able to create for my family as a result of my business. My husband is able to spend more time at home instead of working seven days a week. I am able to volunteer at my sons’ schools. We no longer sacrifice time for money. Arbonne has truly been a gift for my family, a gift that I want to share with as many people as possible.
